3. This book is great for giving a very standard elaboration on what stem cells are, how they’re used and where they come from. There’s only 2 pages dedicated to stem cell information, but it covers all the basics. Important words in relation such as “embryo” and “multipotent” are in bold lettering which is very helpful. The pages contain a high magnification picture of blood stem cells and a fantastic picture of a human embryo. This is an excellent book worth giving a quick read to gain knowledge on stem cells. The tutorials are easy to follow and not extremely advanced in scientific terms, which makes it easy for teens to comprehend. Throughout the website there are plenty of charts and pictures that provide efficient visual learning. There are many opportunities to get involved in learning about stem cells with different articles, videos and discussions.

Updated daily, Stem Save serves as a neat tool to use when researching current stem cell developments.
