The story of the Linea Light Group goes back to 1985 when Minulamp srl, Eva Stampaggi srl and Linea
Light, three leading companies in the lighting sector merged to create a new reality. Since then the Linea
Light Group has constantly evolved in response to market changes, anticipating them and focusing on
research and collaboration with planners and light designers in order to develop an ever-greater offer of

Unlike most lighting manufacturers the Linea Light Group has total control of every stage of the pro-
duction chain. The strategic decision to keep all its plants in Italy allows the company to ensure greater
processing quality certified by EC quality standards and guaranteed by ISO 9001 certification. It also
enables the Group to equip all its plants with cutting edge equipment for material and optics processing
and advanced components for warehousing systems.
A quick slideshow includes laser-cutting machines, moulding equipment, glass processing and bending
machinery and a vertical sorter, an impressive system for the management and automatic supply of
small parts. Last but not least, the Group generates electricity by means of photovoltaic panels produced
in-house. All this contributes to the pursuit of one of the Group’s main objectives: reaching the highest
standards currently attainable to ensure excellence.

Over the years the Linea Light Group has made its name for the energy it brings to tackling new challen-
ges, for the way it looks to the future convinced that the quality of life tomorrow depends entirely on the
way we act today.
Its enthusiastic response to the European Plan on Climate Change should come as no surprise: under the
plan by 2020 the 27 EU member states must increase renewable energy by 20 percent while reducing
energy consumption and greenhouse gases by 20 percent. The international scope of Linea Light’s acti-
vities is therefore confirmed: the Group, during the past 10 years, has dedicated its efforts to promoting
and developing the outstanding potential of LEDs, a highly energy-saving light source, as well as introdu-
cing photovoltaic panels to its huge production range. The company headquarters in Resana, Treviso, was
part of a pilot project that involved covering the plant roof with 4,000 sq m of photovoltaic panels, pro-
ducing 262,000 kWh of energy per year, enough to cover the plant’s entire energy needs; the installation
of new 250-w panels will multiply power production six-fold. Clean renewable energy that has allowed the
Linea Light Group to achieve great results: The plants reduce yearly CO2 emissions into the atmosphere
by 104 tonnes, the equivalent to the average annual emissions of approximately 35 cars. These outstan-
ding results represent a major contribution to protecting the environment, one of the key commitments
of the Linea Light Group’s business activities which aim at ensuring sustainable development balancing
economic, social and environmental objectives. To guarantee today’s well-being without compromising the
well-being of future generations.

ranging from decorative and design residential lighting to customised solutions for various contexts to
a LED offer with high technological content without equal in terms of range width and depth. Goals set

These are the motivations inspiring the entire output of the Linea Light Group in a mindset that sees every
new product as a challenge to be overcome thanks to the capacity to understand, analyse and design
with the aim of achieving an increased synergy between materials, light, technology and architecture.
In order to offer real responses to the growing request for specific know-how, the Linea Light Group has
created dedicated areas taking the shape of five brands, five different ways of satisfying different needs,

satisfy the needs of contract clients in various sectors ranging from fashion to food. Rètail develops
specific solutions for spaces open to the public, places where the choice of lighting demands specific
studies focusing on factors such as functionality and perceived wellbeing.
Rètail solutions let showrooms or shop windows optimise single display areas by creating illuminated
routes guiding customers to products and facilitating merchandise evaluation. In the Food sector Rètail
solutions supply uniform lighting giving customers an overview of the area and enhancing the colours
of the foods on display, an aspect that plays an important role in determining customers’ likelihood to
initiate purchases. LED technology provides superb support by guaranteeing outstanding colour rendering
and complete absence of the UV rays that speed up the deterioration of perishable foods and beverages.

have built up with professionals in the sector. Homes, hotels, banks, offices, firms, major corporations,
architectural projects. Each of these spheres requires the different solutions that the Linea Light Group is

Linea Light Group’s receptiveness and wish to exchange ideas with lighting designers, architects, planners
playing an active role in the world of light. “What do you see” explicitly invites them to express the way that
they see and interpret light so that their vision can become an inspiration for all of the Group’s activities.
Linea Light offers to turn these ideas into reality thanks to its staff, services, technology and creativity.
This aim led to two innovative tools designed for receptiveness towards its interlocutors.
