3. He was born to Claude-Adolphe and Louise-Justine Aubrée Monet on the fifth floor of 45 rue Laffitte.

7. In 1879, Camille died and later on in 1883, Monet bought a house in Giverny.
8. Due to the death of Ernest Hoschedé, Monet painted the series of Meules (Haystacks) and of Peupliers (Poplars).
9. In 1900, Monet painted the Japanese Bridge and the Thames in London.
10. A few years after Monet’s second marriage, she died. Later on in 1914, his first son died.
