1. REPORT OF NETWORKING

Time : 1.00 pm – 3.00 pm
Venue : Science Computer Laboratory
Activity : Networking for Star Topology
TIME ACTIVITY
At 1.00 pm - Our lecturer , Mr Syed Nasir ask to appoint two of us to be a
administrator for each class. Timotthy and Jeremy were chosen to be a
administrator.
At 1.15 pm - The administrator form an organization that join by a group of student.
- Each of them make a different work to do just like ones who responsible
for the wiring, some took a picture far our report.
At 1.32 pm - 4 laptops was set up and ready to use
- the laptops was connected to access point by using physical
transmission.
- Some student was choosing to make wiring.
- Others was searching for tutorial.
At 1.34 pm - The cables were setting up and connect to access point.
At 1.44 pm - Saadiah, student from CP3T17 was listing down the windows of
student’s laptop.
At 1.48 pm - The cabling was terrible.
- Mr Syed ask to improve the arrangement of cables.
At 1.51 pm - 4 laptop still not connect
At 2.00 pm - Still struggling to connect the network
- At the same time, some student who use the windows 8 has distrupted
the connection.
At 2.08 pm - One of the laptop have been succeed to connect .
At 2.10 pm - One of the laptop also have been change because the windows of the
laptop did not suitable to use.
At 2.16 pm - Only three computer that used to connect to access point.
At 2.20 pm - The administrator was checking up all the laptop in the lab.
- The administrator gives the password and teach how to connect the
network.
At 2.25 pm - Seven computer already connect to the network.
At 2.35 pm - Our lecturer told us if windows 8 want to connect to the network, it
must be the admin .
- 11 laptop successfully connected.
- Try to sharing picture to all the laptops.
