This is coming from existing local community groups (food banks, churches,
social support groups) for the most part:
● Pre-vetted list of local volunteers
● Able to informally reference new volunteers
● Have contacts in community of need
4. Admin systems are small scale
● Pen and paper
● Spreadsheets
Need to scale up to answer big wave of requests
Big internet databases and new apps not the answer
● Too little time
● App-first is too open to abuse without robust vetting: bad actor clients and
volunteers
● Wrong client demographic
