- I use research in my internships One of the account execs. had to interview me for their client I had to come up with interview questions for another client I use secondary research DAILY.
- Most of you will take campaigns directly after this You will be doing the research process again Depending on your teacher - you may have to do all of the methods, or you might have to do one I had to do secondary research and it was another 30 pages for the same client We have been doing research alone since August and just wrapped up this Thursday (Oct. 1). Pay attention now, learn to like it
- These are skills you can use for your Resume, LinkedIn, and Portfolios I have a copy of my research book on my linkedin and portfolio It’s a writing sample for employers to see your work, and also see what kind of work you can do SOVA is an actual client so this is real experience. LinkedIn as a skills section and now you can add research
- People come into this class not realizing it’s a service learning class There’s more than just learning research skills, also about real world application Important to serve your community Service Learning is mutually beneficial for those involved If you have the chance try and work with SOVA, volunteer at another event
