license gives you more
flexibility to embed
Jaspersoft in your

LGPL – Non viral
You can link against and don’t have to release
source code (so long as you don’t modify the library
itself). Extending with APIs is OK.
GPL - Viral
You have to release source code of your “derivative work” if
you link against and distribute the library, but don’t if you
only provide a service over a network
AGPL – “Affero”
You have to allow the source code to be downloaded even
if you never distribute the binary but do provide a service
over a network
