3. She died on January 1, 1992 in Arlington Nation Cemetery Virginia at the age of eighty-five.

4. Out of three of her siblings grace was the oldest.

5. At a very young age she showed a love for math and different gadgets.

7. Vincent was a English teacher from New York University.

8. In 1945 during World War II Vincent and Grace divorced.

9. Grace and Vincent didn’t had no children.

11. But a year later she became a student at Vassar College.

12. Grace later graduated in 1928 with a Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics and physics.

13. Two years later she went to Yale University she received her Master's Degree in math.

14. A year later she was hired as a math instructor. During that year she went back to Yale and received her PhD.

16. On December 1943 she joined the Nave WHALES (Women Accepted for Voluntary Emergency Service).

17. Her first assignment was under Commander Howard Aiken at the Bureau of Ordinance Communication at Harvard University.

18. She had to learn how to program a machine, put together a 500 page Manual of Operations for the Automatic Sequence-Controlled Calculator.

20. By the End of World War II in 1945, Grace was working on another version of the machine.
