The Story of Friends of Niños de Cristo:
Charlie Decker created Friends of Niños de Cristo (FONdC) in 2005 to support the orphanage Niños de Cristo and indigent children elsewhere in the Dominican Republic.
Contributions welcomed (Needed!) Checks can be made out to Friends of Niños de Cristo. If you cannot come to the party, but want to make a contribution, please send the check to Charlie Decker at 222 W. 14 St., Apt 12 E, New York, NY 10011.
All contributions go to Niños de Cristo which is classified as a 501C3 tax free organization by the IRS.
With your contributions we are improving the medical care for these children, also helping with their schooling, including books and uniforms, providing special help with their school work and many skills necessary for a better future. We also helped equip the new arts and craft center and electrify the entire facility.
Special contributions and donations have also been received from FONdC supporters for food, clothing, shoes/sneakers. We also have received pro bono services of doctors, dentists and nurses, attorneys and other professions.
