3. This is the front entrance of the house next to the tower surrounding the staircase. I am
not sure whether I want to redesign the entrance so you can actually see the front door
or keep it like this. I still have some playing around to do with the design of this house.

4. From the entrance, the plan is rather open.
Walking straight back you pass the library with a gas fireplace before entering into the large open
living room. A planter divides the space from the breakfast nook and the central bath and closet.
This kitchen provides a lot of space to cook a wide variety of items, while the dining room provides
a formal place to sit down for dinner. Beyond the kitchen is a second set of stairs leading to the
second floor with a laundry room located behind them and the garage easily accessible from the
kitchen.

5. The second floor is open to both the living room and Foyer.
There are four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The master Bedroom has a balcony and a
bath with a whirlpool tub and shower for two, as well as a walk-in closet with a hidden safe room at
the rear for more valuable items. An extra room is placed over the garage, but I am trying to think
of a way to redesign that. I can't make it a bedroom cause it wont have a bathroom close by, so I’m
not sure what to do with it yet.

6. This is the only house that I've designed a basement for. Since I was
originally designing this for me and my girlfriend at the time, I created
space that would incorporate both our interest. I included a music room
so I could have a place to play my drums and other instruments. The weight room obviously for
working out, and a home theater to enjoy movies with the future family. The central area I created
with enough space to include a pool table, and a ping pong table. I also have a mini bar set up for
refreshments. I placed the office next to the hobby room so I could work while she could work on her
art stuff. I also had plans to incorporating a basement under the garage so that I could have a garage
pit as well as additional work space for power equipment or model building.

7. This view just shows some of the detail I put into designing this house. In the garage, I included a ramp up into the work area so I
could roll things up into the house opposed to lifting them over the raised curb of the work area.

8. This view shows both the entrance into the basement under the main stairs, as well as the custom pantry I
designed for my kitchen. The cabinets are the style that open up and have additional fold out shelves to maximize
the space inside the cabinet. I also have shelves on each side to store decorative items or books. Also notice the
glass enclosed breakfast area. This design gets repeated on the second floor surrounding the whirlpool bath.

9. This is also the first house that I spent a significant amount of time on the kitchen design. The red
block shown is the fridge. I have quite finished figuring out which cabinets to place between the
fridge and ovens so it is currently empty.

10. This corner shows the beverage and snack station. The small red block is a mini fridge for drinks. A decorative stem glass storage rack is
above that . The other cabinets, not yet placed, will also consist of things to store snack foods and drinks. the appliances shown from
top to bottom are a built in coffee maker, a Miele speed oven, and a plate/ cup warming tray. All appliances shown are modeled after
existing products researched online mostly from Miele.com or HGTV.com

11. This view shows the large kitchen island with a KM 5676 Electric Cook top built in, as well as the Master Chef Single Oven and
convection Steam oven in the corner. The cabinets were downloaded from kraftmaid.com. They include an 18in breadbox,
built in utensil storage, linen storage, under counter trash receptacles, vegetable baskets, spice drawers and more.

12. This is the current design of the island, but I have had plans to change it to create a seating
area, a rinsing sink, and possibly a pop out ventilation hood. Also notice the decorative
shelving near the windows to hold spices or decorative items.

13. The fridge I hoped to have for this house from today's models was the 36”W. French-Door Bottom- Mount
Refrigerator/Freezer. Like I said, I spent a lot of time researching this stuff even though most of these products will
probably be out dated or improved by the time I'm actually able to afford something like this.

14. On some of these pictures you may notice some changes in the windows, mainly in the living room.
This was due to the shots being taken at two different times as the model progressed.

15. This gives a view into the expansive living room with the balcony from the second floor looking over it.

16. The whirlpool tub in this design is surrounded by a planter to provide some extra privacy around the window that
copies the design from the first floor. The windows will also be tinted to prevent people from peaking in.

17. This back view shows the variety of shapes that make up this house. The balcony provides a nice
place for parents to look out over the back yard and pool area (not shown) I also hope to
incorporate a nice garden in the backyard, so this will also be a great thing to look out at while
relaxing at home.

18. I changed the windows in this view to create larger ones shown in the next
view.

19. This would eliminate the shadows that the previous design would have caused. It also fits the style
of the house better.

20. This is the view entering the master bathroom.

21. The bath will be surrounded my marble tile steps as well as the planter arrangement. The counter has dual sinks
and a full mirror that covers the entire wall. A medicine cabinet it located in the corner.

22. This is the view from the front door looking up at the balcony above.

23. Another view from the foyer. I could not get a curved, sloped banister in
the version of AutoCAD I used for this house. I may retry in later versions.

25. This shows how the large windows really open up this space and let a lot of
natural light into the room.

30. I finished the roof on this house, but I am not sure I like how it turned out. The part connecting the two circular
shapes just didn’t turn out how I would have liked and created a bit of problems with the slopes in the rear of the
house.
