  1. Good Morning In this opportunity, I will present the benefits of mobile learning in education.
  2. Consider, Why mobile learning is important? Mobile learning could improve students access to the Internet. How do you use your phone? Let’’s check the apps that you used daily. The interaction that you have with your mobile device could expand your learning opportunities. The Horizon Report (Johnson, Adams Becker, Estrada & Freeman, 2014) indicated that mobile learning access will increase among learners.
  3. More than 5 billion people will have access to mobile phones, then students will have access to technology in their pockets. If technology is available, we as learning community should decide to integrate mobile learning in the classroom. If the school public policy will not change, we should educate the community about the mobile learning opportunities at their home and afterschool programs.
  4. The current research about mobile learning gives us a perspective about their challenges and successes. Educational and worldwide organizations concurred that mobile learning will change how people interact with technology. If the research helps us identify the limitations and opportunities; then there should be a school evaluation about the benefits of mobile learning in the classroom. Mac Callum and Jeffrey (2013) study showed how students learned digital literacy skills in the classroom. The Horizon Report (Johnson, Adams Becker, Estrada & Freeman, 2014) gave a clear perspective of the mobile learning benefits among learners.
  5. I believe in mobile learning. I shared this example taken this morning at 6.03 am. My students shared questions about blogs and homework. They accessed the Internet at 12.00 pm. The students interaction with technology has change. I have students with mobile devices and without Internet or computers at their home. If we develop a plan that included all the school community. Our students could benefit and learned.
  6. Geoff Stead explained how learning occurred outside the classroom.
  7. How many books do you have in your mobile device?
  8. Commercialization – There are many apps available that could be used for mobile learning. The learning opportunity surround us. If we are not part of the mobile trend, we will be left behind. Students will learn outside the classroom with their mobile devices. We should incorporate mobile learning in the school curriculum. We will innovate and promote a learning transformation among the community.
