2. What I used...
• To get my audience feedback, I mainly used
survey monkey.
• This provided me with results that I used for the
planning and production of my product.
• I created 5 questions which will give me results
and help me to plan what to include in the video.
• I posted the survey on facebook, The King Blues
fan page and Kerrang! website.
• I also did come written interviews.
• I interviewed someone after we produced the
first draft of the advert and got their comments.
After this, we then changed the advert.
3. We all produced surveys on
surveymonkey, and posted
them on the internet to get
our target audience to give us
feedback. The image on the
right is an example of the
type of question asked.
These are some of the
results I got from one of the
questions. It was very useful
to produce a survey
because we used the
answers to make up the
music video. We used dark
colours for parts of the
video and used busy city
locations for some of the
shots, we did this because
that’s what the target
audience want.
4. These are the first and final drafts of the advert. We made our first one using our original
idea but when it was finished, it wasn’t as good as we expected. We got some audience
feedback on it and then changed the photo and layout. We recorded an interview with
someone and asked them questions about the advert and their thoughts on it. The results
from the interview were that it didn’t have a professional look and that was something we
needed to improve. He liked the font, that’s why we kept that the same, but he thought
there needed to be a different photo. Instead of using the singer as the photo, we used a
location shot. This gave it a much more professional look and reflects the band more than
the original one.
