2. The integumentary system includes the following organs: Skin, hair, nails, sebaceous glands and sweat glands. The skin alone is the largest organ in the human body. It provides a protective two-way barrier between our internal and external environments. Because of the amount of surface area that the skin contains, there is a lot of potential for disease.
