Women would also rise early in order to prepare the family a big breakfast before their day began. One of the more popular recipes of the time were flap jacks, which are like pancakes. If you were preparing flap jacks for all of the hired hands this morning, and you knew you needed to triple your standard recipe, how much of each ingredient would you need?
