2. Agency Name JESSIE KEEGAN LTD. Models COVER ONE: ESME MULL COVER TWO: MILES COPELAND COVER THREE: MYSELF (JESSIE KEEGAN) Camera , height, angle , distance: ALL COVERS: HEADSHOT, MODEL LOOKING STRAIGHT AT CAMERA, SHOULDERS AND UP, FACE TO FILL MOST OF THE PAGE (A RECOGNISABLE, TYPICAL ‘THE...ISSUE’ COVER WITH A STRIKING AND EYE CATCHING SHOT)
3. Lighting: Lighting should be natural lighting if possible for all three covers but not the most important aspect to the images as I plan them to be overexposed during editing to create strong black and white images. Location : COVER ONE: Against simple background/wall COVER TWO: Miles in van driving on Rugby Street COVER THREE: Against white wall
4. Mise-en-scene props, costume etc. COVER ONE: Stripy top or some sort of patterned top that will stand out when overexposed and the contrast and brightness is increased when edited afterwards COVER TWO: ‘M’ jumper, ray bans possibly, Beige colored VW campervan, Houses behind in some shots, windows, doors, street lamps, lampposts possibly, brick walls for nice effect in some images COVER THREE: 60’s style black floppy hat inspired by Barbara Goalen and Beyonce in her ‘Countdown’ music video.
5. Contingency e.g. in case of model absence, weather COVER ONE: In case of model absence use either Ellen or Anna as models to create a similar style headshot, Weather doesn’t affect photo shoot as based indoors COVER TWO: In case of model absence take photos of David outside the van wearing a patterned t-shirt, if VW van is unavailable use the old fashioned, vintage car also on Rugby Street to be in the background of images. If raining use umbrella as a prop. COVER THREE: Me in picture so no way of model absence and based indoors so weather does not affect the images or photo shoot overall.
6. Thinking points: Rules of thirds, white background shots, portrait style headshots, direct eye contact from models, all focus on model in the frame and composition, simple backgrounds to ensure maximum attention on model Alternate angle: Must be headshots although could experiment with high angle shots but still focusing on the face to capture exactly who the model is that particular issue is based around them.
