16. Mark 10:13-14
People were bringing little children to
Jesus to have him touch them, but the
disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw
this, he was indignant. He said to them,
"Let the little children come to me, and
do not hinder them, for the kingdom of
God belongs to such as these.

I tell you the truth, anyone who will not
receive the kingdom of God like a little
child will never enter it." And he took the
children in his arms, put his hands on
them and blessed them.

Jesus wanted the children
to come to get blessed!

22. To receive God’s kingdom
as a little child
We must accept God’s offer with a faith
that is. . .
“utterly dependent. . .totally trusting”

Bottom line: Jesus is saying that we must
come to a place where we realize we are
utterly dependent upon God … and are
totally trusting him to meet our greatest
need … which is to enter his kingdom!
So we must come to HIM with empty
hands and open hearts!

26. Have you received “the gift?” Have you
come as a little child with empty hands
and an open heart?
