FDR was the 32nd President of the United States and served from 1933 to 1945. During his presidency, he implemented major programs and reforms to help the country recover from the Great Depression through his "3 R's" of Relief, Recovery, and Reform. Some of his key programs and policies included the CCC, PWA, AAA, NRA, TVA, FDIC, and establishing Social Security. Unemployment rates decreased significantly during his time in office but some criticized his policies as being socialist.
