Dinesh Kumar Mehrotra is the current Chairman of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). He has over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, having held several leadership positions with LIC across different zones and departments. Some of his past roles include Executive Director of LIC's foreign operations, Senior Divisional Manager of LIC's Dehra Dun and Ahmadabad Divisions, and Managing Director of LIC from 2005 to 2012 before being appointed Chairman in 2012. He also currently serves as Chairman of LIC Housing Finance and on the boards of several other companies.

Corporation of India from May 26, 2011 to May
31, 2012.
 He serves as a Director of Infrastructure Leasing &
Financial Services Limited

 He was primarily responsible for the tremendous
growth in premium income.
