About The Memory Potion
•
Has 2 effects on the drinker:
1 .allows improved access to memories which the drinker has stored in their long-term
memory.
2 .helps to improve memory in their future.
•
Potion works gradually, needs to be consumed every day, at the same time of day for a
week before effects start to take place.
•
Has been known to help slow the onset of Alzheimer's, helps to create stronger links
between memories, and strengthen the Hippocampus. (currently no way to prevent
Alzheimer's disease).
•
Legalized potion, can be bought with a prescription from a Healer.
•
If the user is intending to drink the potion themselves, or is making the potion for a specific
person, by adding hair from the intended drinker's head will double the strength of the
potion.

in generic potions from apothecaries, this ingredient is not added, so potions bought will be less
potent .
•
This potion doubles as an antidote for the Forgetfulness potion
–
it restores and strengthens the synapses which are lost when the Forgetfulness potion is
consumed, restoring memories in the process.

Recipe Instructions
•
Step 1 – measure 250ml of water in a measuring jug and add to the
cauldron.
•
Step 2 – heat the cauldron to 100 degrees Celsius or 212 degrees
Fahrenheit, bringing it to the boil.
•
Step 3 – turn the heat down to 50 degrees Celsius or 122 degrees
Fahrenheit, allowing the water to simmer.
•
Step 4 – add one tablespoon of the flobberworm mucus.
•
Step 5 – stir once, anti-clockwise so the potion turns a cloudy green
colour.
•
Step 6 – tap your wand on the nearest cauldron edge to you.
•
Step 7 – leave the potion to brew for 20 minutes.
•
Step 8 – add the rest of the water to the cauldron.
•
Step 9 – heat the cauldron to 100 degrees Celsius or 212 degrees
Fahrenheit, bringing it to the boil.
•
Step 10 – turn the heat down to 50 degrees Celsius or 122 degrees
Fahrenheit, allowing the water to simmer.

Step 11 – slowly add ten drops of dittany and ten drops of coconut oil
alternately.
•
Step 12 – stir once, anti-clockwise so the potion turns a shimmering light
golden colour and begins emitting a glittering steam.
•
Step 13 – place the ginseng root onto the cutting board and, using the
knife, chop it into fine pieces
•
Step 14 – add the chopped ginseng root to the potion.
•
Step 15 – add two tablespoons of flobberworm mucus to your cauldron.
•
Step 16 – stir three times, slowly, anti-clockwise.
•
Step 17 – tap your wand twice on the nearest edge of the cauldron to you.
•
Step 18 – leave the potion to brew for 49 minutes so it turns a bright
golden colour and no longer emits steam or smoke.
•
Step 19 – from arm’s length, drop the jobberknoll feather into the
cauldron so the potion will flash a deep blue, until returning to its
previous bright golden colour, and cause blue sparks to shoot out.
•
Step 20 – bottle your potion.

Final Prodcut
•
If your potion has been brewed successfully
–
It should be a bright golden colour, but will
appear to be giving off a small amount of blue
steam.
–
It should have a thin consistency, like a light
soup.
–
A successful potion will smell faintly like
butterbeer and should not contain any lumps or be
giving off thick smoke.

Storage & Administration
•
Store in warm area, near window so it has
access to natural light.
–
do not keep in dark or cool area for more than 24
hours because it will become ineffective
•
you'll know this if it's a muddy brown color
•
if this occurs, you must dispose it (it shouldn't be used)
•
Needs to be left alone to mature for one day
for every year of the drinker's life.

When administering the potion:
–
it will be of thin consistency
–
low viscosity
–
given orally
–
15mL of the potion needs to be drank on an
empty stomach, at the same time each day for a
week (before results will show)
–
once the drinker's brain has reached it's max
capacity/strength, the potion won't have any
further effects

Not suitable for children under the age of 18
•
Pregnant women should not consume (as healer's before
attempting)
•
Mild allregic reaction can occur

Prior to administration take 5mL orally and wait 24-48 hours to see if
there is any sign of allergic reaction
•
Side Effects that can occur include:
–
nausea, tiredness, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of consciousness
–
contact a healer if any of these occur
