Jillian C. York is a writer and free speech advocate whose work lies at the intersection of technology and politics. She currently serves as the Director of International Freedom of Expression at the Electronic Frontier Foundation. Jillian is a frequent public speaker, and has given talks at South by Southwest, Harvard University, RightsCon, Personal Democracy Forum, re:publica, and at many other events. She has written about technology and society for a number of publications, including the New York Times, Quartz, the Atlantic, Foreign Policy, and Al Jazeera English.
