image sublimation on fabric in Montreal, Contact Image is known for

3. We can print up to 10’ wide images of unlimited length! Creative, unique approaches with this process
can include vinyl banners, adhesive vehicle wraps and impressive entrance tapestries. Outdoor stage
installations are particularly impressive. Fabric sublimation produces the elegant banners that attract at-
tention and really make an impression.

5. Scope of Services
Contact Image is vertically integrated, with a wide array of equipment on the floor.
We can print on almost any media. Laminating and finishing is handled in house.
Our art department and IT areas are professional, state of the art installations.
Photo Imaging:
We use state of the art equipment to produce the finest images. A wide
variety of media is available to ensure your images have just the right “look”
when displayed.
Coroplast & Foamcore (or virtually any rigid material - up to 2" thick)
5’ X 10’ TEMPO flatbed printer handles these medias. (UV inks enable
indoor and outdoor use.)
Banners (all varieties available)
• We have the following roll to roll printers available to produce banners for
interior and exterior use.
• 10’ wide HP FRESCO III printer produces indoor / outdoor banners on a
wide variety of media.
• 5’ wide Mimaki JV5 printer produces high resolution indoor / outdoor
images on a variety of media.
• 6’ wide Mimaki JV4 printers (2) produce dye sublimation images for fabric
printing. Also available in 10’ wide format, with solvent printing.
• Banners can be fabricated as hanging structures and self standing
pop-up units.
Floor & Wall Decals
Our equipment is capable of producing highly durable floor and wall decals.
The Mimaki JV5 handles the printing on specialized media and our in-house
hot laminating equipment protects the images with durable floor-grade over-
laminates. Contact Image can also provide the new 3M rough wall
vinyl covering.

Known for innovation, Contact Image can go beyond the requested range of services, We can provide back-lit
signage on a full range of media, as well as specialized Lycra (stretch) signage on custom fabricated structures.
Our wide range of in-house capabilities is available to “push the envelope” on what is possible with the various
media we use.
3M’s new “Rough –Surface” wall wrap is an
excellent product to decorate virtually any structure
on a temporary basis.
Contact Image has had great success with fabric
display panels made of Lycra fabric. Specialized
frames and pop-up display structures make this
material particularly appealing for multiple venue use.
Contact Image has strategic partnerships with a
variety of well equipped event planning and staging
companies as well as promotional products and
specialized graphic arts suppliers. These working
relationships allow for an expanded offering of

Our pre-press area is staffed with experienced and efficient graphic artists,
utilizing the latest graphics industry tools. Their primary function is to ensure
customer files are properly set up for the unique demands of our large
format equipment.

Finishing
Contact Image employs a skilled team of finishing experts. Whether it is
custom sewing of complicated fabric structures or precision lamination and
creation of trade show panels, our staff can handle just about anything.
What we can’t do in-house is outsourced to a reliable network of
experienced contractors.
All projects are carefully packaged according to shipping requirements.
We are routinely complimented on the quality of our packaging.

9. Experience
Contact Image has grown from the merging of two successful Montreal-based
business entities operating in the high-end scanning / specialty imaging area and the
professional photography markets. Both were innovators who constantly embraced
new technologies, keeping them leaders in their respective fields.
With the advent of large format digital imaging, the opportunity to become a
dominant player in this new market presented itself and the two firms joined together
as Contact Image.
As part of the current management team’s long-term vision, Contact Image recently
moved to a new facility. This new plant maximizes work flow efficiency and allows
for future expansion. Our experienced and talented staff are settling in to our new
home and are anxious to take the company to its next level of development.
