I'm interested in teaching computer programming to non-programmers, including questions such as:
- What is the process of solving problems using programming, and how can we teach this process to students?
- Which computer science concepts do students find particularly difficult, and what approaches can we use in teaching these concepts?
- What misconceptions do students form about computer science concepts? How do we identify and correct these misconceptions?
- Do the tools that we use to program (programming languages, environments, and code editors), help or hinder students' learning to program?
