2. Under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
1999 all employers have a legal obligation to:

OHSAS 18001 audits - for organisations working

accreditation.
Specific audits - assessing how well a particular
aspect of health and safety, such as Fire safety, DSE,
COSHH, HAVS. etc is managed.

7.  Agree time and Date for the Audit
 Discuss domestic arrangements, Audit Fee
/Expenses/accommodation/welfare arrangements.
 Kick off meeting and introduction to all stake holders.
 Conduct Location audit, Time of audit is dependant on the
size of site and scope of audit required.
 Arrange time with HODs/Responsible persons.
 Close audit meeting with Immediate findings and overview to
senior management.
 Written Audit Result with in 2 weeks of Audit.
