What do mean by nation-builders? Why
did we called this University as Nation
builder? Let gets answer to some of these
questions. In my point of view, nation
builders means the unit which who are
engaged in building the future or pillars
of the nation by fulfilling the necessity of
the changing era. It requires a lot of hard
work, determination, patience,
dedication and calmness. It is huge
responsibility to fulfil. To put the
foundation of the future means thinking
of big changes in the world.
We did called Jodhpur National University
as Nation builder because it is one of the
place where students are prepared for the
Future World. The university was
founded in the year 1998 by Mr. Kamal
Mehta. The founder did have a firm belief
that education should be such as it can
fulfil the need of the changing world.
With this thought, he did proposed for an
education which would be a combination
of Academics and Professional learning.
The thought that- multiskills are
necessary for the welfare of Society and
Humanism was promoted in this place.
The university has lush greenery all
around. Around 31 acres of area is
occupied by the university. It has a fine
infrastructure with the following
facilities- WI-FI Campus, Labs and Clinics,
Lecturer Clinic, Library, Hostel and
Hospital, ATM, Open ground for games,
Transportation.
Jodhpur National University has been
recognized by various educational
segments as- UGC, DEC, NCTE, BCI, PCI,

We do live in an era where changes are giving place to revolutionary aspects. We all do
love to live a life of harmony, peace and comfort. Today we prefer to pursue education
too at a place there the basic amenities can be fulfilled and where we can cherish for a
lavish living. Comfort at educational institution does not merely means having big sofas

​ The Life inside Jodhpur National University
After the end of the session at school, I was very much caught with the thought that how
life is going change now? Learning at school was a different thing. At school we used to
scream on various reason. But now what is actually going to happen was quite uncertain.
A feeling to losing the old faculty was dreary. A strange feeling was doing ding-dong like
a pendulum. Was life going to take a U-turn? Or will it be bringing monotonous aspect or
boredom in life? So many things were there in the mind.
With these feeling I started screaming web to find a relevant college which can put an
end these thoughts. After spending a lot of quality time on researching, I finally got a list
of the few colleges which can bring new meaning to my life. After going through the
brochures I shortlisted few of them to visit. I guess two-three. This way after spending a
10-15 days in analyzing and comparing the things I finally got a university of my choice,
Jodhpur National University. It helped me to come out of the dreary feelings.
The University is full of live. When I stepped into this new world I was a bit confused or
you can say I was worried. But as soon as came in close proximity with the people, I found
the place extra-ordinary. You won`t believe that inspite of having a diversified faculty of
renowned professional, the environment is sound enough to develop our own skills. The
faculty came from different parts of the country. They are live scholars proposing noble
thoughts to persistence.
Jodhpur National University gave me the opportunity to enjoy world-class facilities of
Wi-Fi campus, well-stocked library, advanced labs and clinics and modern lecturer hall.
The thing which I loved the most about this workplace is that people are co-operative and
eager to help others. Accommodation facility is excellent too. Separate hostel for boys
and girls. As previously I was staying with a private hostel outside, this hostel facility
inside the premises gave me a bonus card to learn here. Fare of A/C and Non-A/C is quite
nominal and easily affordable. Here I also got the opportunity to participate in various

Engineers` Day at Jodhpur National University
Engineers` day is celebrated across the world. Though the dates are not similar
everywhere. This day is celebrated to give a tribute to the prominent engineers who has
inscribed their name in history for their immense contribution. In India, this day is
celebrated on 15th September every year. The day marks the remarkable contribution of
great scientific luminaries. This day is a tribute to the outstanding Indian Engineer, Mr.
M. Visvesvaraya, who has been crowned with Bharat Ratna. This legendary engineer was
been recognized for his immense contribution in the field of harnessing Water
Resources.
Every year this day is celebrated in a number of schools and colleges. In Jodhpur also this
event was celebrated by a good number of colleges in remembrance of the renowned
Engineer. Engineers` day was celebrated in Jodhpur National University too with zeal
and enthusiasm. The university organized various activities to lay emphasis on the
importance of the day. The university organized 2-3 days activities in the fond memory of
this influential engineer.
The faculty organized ‘Poster Presentation Competition’. It was held up on 12th
September. Student of engineering stream took active participation in the competition.
Several renowned person of the state were invited to add their point of view on the
subject. The chief guest kindled the lamp in front of Goddess Saraswati and program was
started. The faculty and students showed a lot of keenness in the activities. The
Chairperson of the university, Dr. D.K. Mehta, gave vote of thanks to students and
faculty for their kind participation in the activity. He told that activities like such help to
reflect new vision and perspective. The event continued till 14-15th September.
Jodhpur National University thus on timely basis organizes such events to promote
dynamic prospects of the universe. The result of the event was also announced and few
students- Arvind Hemram, Tarun, Apurva and Alok Ranjan were the winners of the
competition. Rest the zeal of the entire faculty was highly appreciable.

In Industrial based learning, we get opportunity to
work with different firms simultaneously with
our studies. It gives us opportunity to apply
theoretical learning to actual and real situations. It
helps us clarify us our career path. We do also
