Ice breaker Game before the lesson: Word Hunt (In preparation
for our next series) look for these words (make it bold and big) TRUE,
HONORABLE, JUST, PURE, LOVELY, COMMENDABLE,
EXCELLENCE..those who found this word tell them to keep it for awhile,
before our program ends, call each one of them in order (pls. refer to
Phil. 4:8) in front as you announce and introduce our next series
“ CHOOSE” with our main verse in Philippians 4:8 (ESV)
Introduction:
Hi children!! I know you are enjoying that your class has ended
right?! It means your getting excited of what we call S-U-M-M-E-
R…wooohooo!!
Today we will also end our series R-I-S-E-N. Thank you Lord for this
series, reminding us of God’s unconditional love for us and the power
of Jesus’ death and resurrection!!
Jesus is alive, He lives forevermore and because of that Jesus wants
YOU AND ME FULLY ALIVE!! yes we are breathing that’s why we are
alive but it’s more than that, Jesus wants you to enjoy your life in and
with Him. So are you ready for our lesson?

2. Lesson:
Question: What are the top 3 things that make you happy?
What are the top 3 things that you love and enjoy to
do?
( wait for the children to respond)
In John 10: 10 it says
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they
may have life and have it abundantly.
At a count of 3 let’s all close our eyes and imagine that we are sheep
( make a little sound of a sheep) inside a sheep’s pen enjoying your rest
(remind children to close their eyes) and then suddenly a big ugly wolf jump
over the fence and grab you!! ( make a not so scary sound of a wolf at the
same time the sheep’s scared sound), let the children open their eyes now
and ask them, how did they feel? ( again wait for their responses)
We all know what a thief can do to you in a reality, they jump over you with
no warning, steal what you have, kill and destroy your life for you to be left
empty and fearful. Right?!
But thank you Lord Jesus gave us a promise in this verse that “ I (Jesus)
came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Children, we are like sheep and Jesus is our Shepherd and He knows that
we have an enemy (Satan) who will steal and destroy our hearts and mind
leaving us fearful, the enemy would steal our joy of praying, joy of listening
to His word by putting distractions (like gadgets) that would lead us to
believing that life is fun and exciting when you have the things of this world
that makes you feel accepted or in. Sometimes the big ugly wolf will
suddenly take a way your family or friends that will left you broken.
Our life is full of surprises that would either breaks us or builds us, that’s
why we need JESUS!! Everybody shout JESUS!! He is our shepherd who will
guard and guide us, protect and provide for us..WOW!! isn’t it amazing!!
But for us to enjoy the life that is full and abundant (plentiful/prosperous)
the very reason Jesus came, we need to:
1. Listen and Hear His voice
2. Obey Jesus as our Shepherd
How? By constantly praying and reading the bible at the same time
OBEY what He says
What happens when we hear and obey Jesus’ voice?
We will enjoy life to the full and in abundance.. no matter what we
have, we are joyful and grateful!! No matter what happen we are
assured that JESUS is always on our side to protect and provide our
needs!!
CHOOSE to give your life and heart to Jesus!!

ones.

Our next series is “CHOOSE”, main verse is found in PHILIPPIANS
4:8, whoever can memorize this verse will get a chance to “CHOOSE”
his/her prize or reward next Sunday!!
