Description:
Blendspace was formerly known as Edcanvas. Blendspace is a connected space where
students and adults can organize, present and share information. It is a quick method
to blend all materials needed from all over the websites into a beautiful lesson.
Presentation can be gathered, annotated and shared easily by dragging and dropping
images, movies, maps, audio and text and embedding hyperlinks onto a blank canvas.
Blendspace allows the use of multiple frames on each canvas to pre-teach a topic,
differentiated instruction, and share pathfinders and explore connections. Users can
also upload own content or searching on the Internet.
Users can also create classrooms for students to participate in the lesson. A teacher can
grade students' exercises immediately and automatically. Furthermore, a teacher would
benefit from a comprehensive assessment towards students in this interactive canvas.
Older elementary and secondary students can create collaborative projects by copying
individual canvases to make a complete dynamic canvas. An attractive presentation will
be presented to the audience and serves multitude information in one organized
canvas. Blendspace is not only suitable for teaching and learning but it is also suitable
for businesses and other fields. Blendspace can be used to present ideas and will be
helpful in collecting various ideas from other coordinates.
Suggested activities:
Get your students to do their revision and quizzes at anywhere and anytime. Fun and
interactive learning is happening in Blendspace. User with drawing talent can upload
and use their material to blend on the canvas. You can also encourage your students to
do their group work in Blendspace and collaborate to project their ideas on the canvas.

12 PRESENT.ME
137
Let’s get started by designing your very own
creative presentation! You may use the plans
to help you design the ideas!
1
2
138
Before you may start using Present.me, you must first sign up if you have not
had any accounts yet. You may sign up manually or just sign up using your
Facebook or Google account. If you have already registered yourself as a
Present.me user, you can just login and get started!
You’ve signed up, logged in and are ready to make your first Present.me.
Click on the Create tab at the top of the page, and you will be taken to the
upload page.
3
4
139
Make sure you have Slides & Video selected, and
the Record Video option selected. Click Proceed
and you can then choose your file to upload. It
can be a Powerpoint file, a PDF (you can export
from Keynote and Prezi to PDF) a word
document or a Google doc.
Choose the file and wait for it to upload
As soon as it’s uploaded, you’ll be
taken to a new tab whilst your file
converts to a format compatible with
Present.me.
5
6
140
Once it’s converted, you’ll see a green Record button appear
to the right. Conversion times can vary depending on the
level of traffic, but most presentations are converted in
under a minute, with some larger files taking up to 10
minutes. Present.me will also send you an email when your
file is ready if you prefer not to wait.
7
141
Click Record and your slides will be loaded into the recorder application. The first thing
that happens is we ask permission to use your webcam and microphone. Click ‘Allow’,
and you will see a network speed test running in the background. If your network isn’t
fast enough, you will be notified– you can still use Present.me, but you are more likely to
lose your connection whilst recording and thus lose what you’ve recorded. If you do have
a slow connection, it’s better to upgrade to a Plus account (you can take a 30 day free
trial if you sign up with a new account) and then upload a prerecorded video and sync
that.
Click
Once you’ve clicked allow, you should see your webcam image in the right hand
side window. If you can’t see yourself, click on the Settings button (bottom left)
and you can choose your camera and microphone from the list provided.
8
9
142
Say a few words just to make sure your microphone is working, Click
the red Record button and you’ll get a 5 second countdown before it
starts recording, use the right & left arrow keys to move your slides
forwards and back, alternatively, you can click on the buttons on the
recorder. Pressing the space also moves the slides forwards.
When you’ve either reached the last slide, or are ready to stop, click
the Stop button and you will stop recording. If you’re on the last slide,
you can also click ‘Next’ and that will stop the recording too. Now
you’re ready to review & publish. Click ‘End & Review’ and you will be
taken to the Publish page.
10
143
Here you can review the finished presentation, change the privacy
setting; add a title, description and keywords. If you click ‘Delete
Recording’ your recording will be deleted and the presentation will be
ready to record again. If you’re happy with the recording, click ‘Save’
and the presentation will be published.
Now you can share it with whoever

  • 5. 1 Website: https://www.blendspace.com Description: Blendspace was formerly known as Edcanvas. Blendspace is a connected space where students and adults can organize, present and share information. It is a quick method to blend all materials needed from all over the websites into a beautiful lesson. Presentation can be gathered, annotated and shared easily by dragging and dropping images, movies, maps, audio and text and embedding hyperlinks onto a blank canvas. Users can also upload own content or searching on the Internet. Users can also create classrooms for students to participate in the lesson. A teacher can grade students' exercises immediately and automatically. Furthermore, a teacher would benefit from a comprehensive assessment towards students in this interactive canvas. Older elementary and secondary students can create collaborative projects by copying individual canvases to make a complete dynamic canvas. An attractive presentation will be presented to the audience and serves multitude information in one organized canvas. Blendspace is not only suitable for teaching and learning but it is also suitable for businesses and other fields.
