How to use one Facebook Live to produce 15 pieces of content
Live broadcasts have many benefits:
- Easy to do
- Great for organic reach
- Raw material for other content
- Real-time feedback

#2: Blog post
STEP #2:
- Create transcript from blog
(I use Rev.com and it costs $1 per minute)
- Use this transcript to re-write as a blog post.
This becomes content piece #2.
**This step is a great one to outsource as your
biz grows**

#3: Visual content
STEP #3:
- Create images for social media using quotes
from the live.
I use Canva.
4-5 images per posts builds a library
really quickly that you can re-use on social.
**This step is a great one to outsource as
your biz grows**

#5: Instagram stories

quotes from the post + your visuals
You could also save this as a highlight
on your profile.

#6: Facebook post
STEP #6:
- Post some text from the transcript or blog onto
Facebook with one of your visual content
pieces + the blog link
(note: you can create several social media posts
from one blog post)

#8: Linked In
STEP #8:
Create a Linked In Pulse post and re-publish
your blog post directly on your profile.
You can also post as an update as you would for
Facebook.

#10: Podcast
STEP #10:
Strip the audio out of the video and use as a podcast.
You can record a separate intro, and edit the live
and intro together for your pod.
I use Upwork for this part.

#11: Slideshare
STEP #11:
Turn the key elements of the post intro a presentation
+ upload to Slideshare.
Use Google Docs, Canva, or Powerpoint/Keynote.
Embed SlideShare into LinkedIn for extra points.
Slideshare is a really powerful search engine.

#12: Webinar/training
STEP #12:
Now you have the content as a slideshow, you could
teach is as a webinar to a different audience and/or add
in more information.
I did this with a blog post I wrote for my site, and it
became a training module in my Academy as well as a lead
magnet.

#13:Animated video for FB/Instragram
STEP #13:
Take some quotes and your visual images you
created, and turn into a short video for
Facebook + Instagram.
You can get this done on Fiverr or Upwork, or
use something like Animoto to get your short
video produced.

#14: Add extra value and turn into an opt-in
STEP #14:
Consider how you can add extra value to your content,
and turn the blog post into a content upgrade.
Could you:
- Add some audio or a screencast walk-through
- Add some swipe files or examples
- Give away some extra resources that would help
your audience/clients.

#15: Re-write as guest post
STEP #15:
Re-write the post as a guest post or piece for
Medium
Re-work the material, and using extra insights, links,
case studies or crowdsourced quotes, you have another
piece of content to use.

Let's talk about ROI
Making the most of content you create makes sense.
You use your time and resource once (on the live), and the rest
of the process can, in time, be handed off to be outsourced.
Until that's a possibility for you, working through whichever
elements you choose to re-purpose means that the time you
invest means your audience are finding you and getting value
24/7 on all platforms.

Workflows that make it easier
There are many pieces of tech that can shortcut a lot of the
workflow for you and do the heavy lifting.
I recorded this process to show you how to automate a
Facebook live transcript back as a text file on your Trello board
as an example.
