Hyperloop version 0.1.0 was released. This is a nextgeneration compiler that converts JavaScript source code
into native code and will be used in Ti.Next. Supports iOS
and Windows 8 (experimental).
Beta of Ti.Next expected in Q3 and official release in Q4.
Gartner predicts that by 2017, 94.5% of downloads will be
for free apps. Appcelerator believes the the future of
mobile monetization is in developing apps for businesses.

There is a new podcast covering Titanium: London Titanium
Podcast
TiCons-CLI is a CLI tool for generating icons and splash
screens for Titanium Alloy projects. This is a standalone
version of the capability through the TiCons website.
grunt-titanium is a command line build tool which uses the
Titanium SDK and mobile SDKs to automate creating, building
and testing projects.
ti-testflight-hook is a a Titanium CLI hook for deploying builds
to TestFlight.

In this presentation, Matt Schmulen of StrongLoop, and formerly Appcelerator, covers how to take advantage of
StrongLoop for Full Stack Javascript front to back .
Matt is currently a Developer Advocate for StrongLoop Inc whose Node.js suite
offers an API tier for connecting enterprise data to devices and browsers.
StrongLoop was created by the people who write Node.js.
