Implement and supervises overhauling, rehabilitation and other maintenance projects.
Conducts equipment facilitates periodic test of Turbine’s major and auxiliary equipment.
Gathers data from test instruments and apparatus.
Conduct studies/analyze and interprets test data and result to determine compliance with
approved standards of operation; computes performance and efficiency test. Performs
vibration test and balancing of rotating equipment.
Analyze equipments trouble and weak points and recommend for the improvement of
equipments performance.
Preparation of technical reports with counter proposals on improvements.
Prepares and drafts required technical drawings, isometric piping diagram, curves and
charts that are needed in equipment monitoring and data analyses. Draws and sketches
machine parts for local fabrication to be used as spare or as substitute parts. Checks
measurements and critical dimensions are followed within close tolerances using precision
tools.
Conduct performance test and acceptance test on every equipment repaired.
Checks deliveries of requisitioned items, determine acceptability as to conform with
specification, workmanship quality and suitability to intended use.
Monitors and conducts inventory on actual spare parts stock on hand and insure proper
storage/safekeeping of spare parts.
Procurement and evaluation of needed spare parts and tools for overhauling, rehabilitation
and regular maintenance use and proper coordination with the procurement department.
Secures and releases tagging clearance before and after the performance of maintenance
and repair work. Conducts final inspection, test run and acceptance of repaired and newly
installed equipment.
Performs other duties that may be assigned.
