Caiu and Adelaid were learning to count by forming groups of ten sticks. They noticed that the moon looks round like a melon some nights. They decided to count the number of nights it takes for the moon to go from round back to round again. To keep track of the nights, they used coconut shells to draw pictures in the sand. Now we know the moon's cycle is 28 days.
