2. What creative decisions did you have to make to solve
problems and how did this apart from your original plan?
When we first started recording the script was to
short, however to overcome this problem, we added
in sounds effects and more dialogue. This had
departed from our original plan by having a minimum
time of 30 seconds when we wanted a short and
snappy radio advert.
3. Both individually working with others how did
you work and what challenges did you face?
We had good communication of what we wanted to
see in the radio advert. We were co-operative in the
tasks we had to complete. We faced challenges such
as who was going to do the voice over. We
overcame this problem by suggesting people and
narrowing down to our final candidates.
4. What advertising techniques did you use to
hook your intended target audience?
To hook our intended target audience we used
advertising techniques such as; rhetorical questions, a
busy atmosphere soundtrack that could incise and
tempt people to appear. We also used a slogan and
a relatable character to our target audience which
was young people.
5. How did technology enable the creative process? Was it difficult to use
any of the equipment and did you learn any new skills?
We used the microphone recorder to enable us to
record voices to place into our radio advert. We had
trouble turning it on but worked it out eventually.
When recording with the microphone you must put it
down and speak clear and also not be in a big room.
