Pavegen Systems is a technology company that has developed paving slabs to
convert energy from people's footsteps into electrical power.
Pavegen are an innovative clean tech company, headquartered in London, who
develop and manufacture flooring technology that converts the wasted kinetic
energy from footsteps into renewable electricity.

The top surface of the tiles uses up to 100% recycled rubber, from old truck
tyres. Some base models use a 50-50 mix of virgin and recycled rubber.

About the Founder
Prior to becoming the founder and CEO
of Pavegen in 2009, Laurence graduated
with a 1st class honours in Industrial
Design & Technology from Loughborough
University. As CEO and a member of the
Board, he encourages a revolutionary
approach to the energy efficiency
industry, whilst leading the Pavegen
team from a technology and operations
standpoint.
