2. Why learn PDHPE
PDHPE – Physical, Development, Health and
Physical Education
PDHPE focuses on a range of skills – these
include:
- Decision making, Movement, Interaction,
Problem solving and communicating
PDHPE also allows students to recognise and
understand changes within themselves

3. Physical Education
In PE students are able to achieve so many personal
goals and to grow and develop in ways they never
thought possible.
• Students are able to learn basic ball skills such as
throwing and catching, and bouncing and
dibbiling.
• A range of games and activities are prepared so
that Physical Education doesn’t seem much like a
proper lesson and is instead fun and interavtive.

4. PDH
• PDH classes are designed to provide children of all
ages information about their changing selves and how
to be safe in all aspects of life.
• Some of the main topics that are covered in PDH
include:
- Sex education
- Road safety
- Nutrition
- Active living
All topics covered in PDH are in a controlled and safe
environment so all students and parents should have no
reason to worry about their or their children’s safety.

5. Summary
To summaries it can be seen that, for children of
all ages and in all stages of school, PDHPE is
important. PDHPE provides students an
understanding in a lot of areas in life, it provides
them with answers to questions they may have
and are too afraid to ask.
PDHPE gives students a sense of different skills
that will help them in the future to interact and
work well with others
