Kumbh Mela is one of India's most sacred Hindu festivals that occurs every 12 years in Nashik, Maharashtra. 2. Kumbh Mela is one of the most sacred festivals of India

demons were having a row over some nectar/honey
then Lord Vishnu flew away with the pot of honey
and inadvertently spilled drops of nectar at four
different places – Nashik, Haridwar, Ujjain and
Prayag. And so these are the places that this mass
congregation takes place periodically even today.

Leo, the Kumbh Mela is celebrated at Trimbakeshwar in
Nashik. An event celebrated with great enthusiasm at the
Kumbh Mela, the masses of people gathered collect and take
part in religious ceremonies connected with this event. Some
of these are holding religious sermons and discussions, taking
part in singing devotional hymns and songs, as also feeding of
holy men and women as well as the poor people.

temple in Nashik which is in Maharashtra. Considered a very
