1. Job Aid for the Final Fiesta Paper Template
This template is an outline in which to write your final paper. The template is a graduate
student’s final write-up for Psy 671. It includes all the tools necessary for writing an
awesome paper.
How to use the template
Read through the template to get an idea of what we are looking for in your final write-
up. Before you do anything go to file, versions, save now, then label the second
version as template two. What this does is give you two versions of the template just in
case you need to reference something that you have already deleted. To open the second
version, go back to File, versions and then highlight the second version which should
be listed under existing versions, then click open. It is as simple as that. Now that you
have two versions, start to delete the information provided and enter yours. Go section
by section in order to keep things organized and in the right places. W hat I mean is not
to delete all the given information at once! Make sure that you keep the headings and
fonts as they are.
Graphs, Diagrams and Tables
The graphs, diagrams and tables might seem complicated at first glance, but they are very
user friendly. How to insert your information into a graph, diagrams or table:
1. Activate a cell by clicking inside of it.
2. Delete information provided and then,
3. Insert your information.
The diagrams are group, which means that all cells of the diagram move together. This
might create a small problem. When you delete a section of the template, in order to
2. insert yours, the diagrams might sift to a different position. Don’t panic!! The diagrams
are anchored to the text, so when you delete a section it will follow. They should move
back down as you enter your information. If they are not in an appropriate area after your
information is inserted, then you will have to drag the diagrams to the appropriate place.
You should have no difficulties.
I helpful hint, your final paper should not be a replica of the template. If your
paper does resemble the template (the setting and procedures) you will lose points. The
format of your paper should follow the template though.
If you have any problems with the template feel free to contact your TA.
NOTE: Be sure to specify in your paper and presentation whether your recycle phase
was real or hypothetical. If there was no need to recycle explain a hypothetical reason of
why you may have needed to recycle.
