PowerPoint is a program made by Microsoft for the point of
presenting.
• PowerPoint offers some unique tools that make the process of
creating presentations seamless and easy.
• PowerPoint is widely used by business and individuals to achieve
similar goals of getting an idea, point, or concept across to its
viewers.
3. HOW TO ADD A SLIDE
Adding slides are arguably the most important part of PowerPoint
• Click on the Home tab on the ribbon. The Home section is divided
by 6 columns.
• In the second column titled, “Slides” click the New Slide button.
Select a type of slide or choose the default. Your slide is now added
to the Slides navigation pane on the left of your screen.
4. ADDING TRANSITIONS
Transition add a different dimension to PowerPoints. As you switch
through slides, each slide will transition into the next with an effect, such as a
Screen fade out, wipe across or even a flashing effect! On your Ribbon, click
the tab titled, “Transitions”.
• Click the Transitions Tab in your Ribbon. From here, you want to select a
transition you like. Once you select a transition from the ribbon, it will
automatically show the transition effect. The transition you select will happen
to the current slide during your presentation.
5. SLIDE ETIQUETTE
PowerPoint's generally follow a specific layout
• Bulleting your points with a brief explanation of your point as a sub
bullet. You then continue your sub bullet in your speech or
presentation to your audience.
