5. Where are the psychology books? Psychology is a cross-disciplinary subject. Books on the various aspects of psychology will be shelved in all areas of the library. To find specific titles in their own particular locations it is essential that you can use the Library Catalogue effectively.

7. Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Middlesex University campus libraries (Hendon, and Trent Park) use the Dewey system. 15. The Library Catalogue Best options would be:- For the first, where the title is fully known, use Title A-Z For the second where a topic is known, use Title Keyword Where a part title and author are known, use General Keyword

18. Making a Request Use your ID/ student number & your date of birth as “Pin”

19. Renewing Use the My Account option to see what items you have on loan and to renew them. NB You will not be able to renew books which are requested

21. Journals How are print journals arranged?

22. Print Journals are arranged:- Alphabetically by the exact title of the journal. Within each title, journals are arranged: overall by date : volume number : part/issue number The vast majority of our journals are now provided electronically and accessed through the Library Catalogue Print journals are located on the 2nd floor in the Law Wing
