 Decision-making is the study of identifying and choosing
alternatives based on the values and preferences of the
decision maker.
 Decision-making is one of the central activities of
management and is a huge part of any process of
implementation

or other as part of managerial process. Decisions are
made in the best interest of the organization.
 Decisions are taken to support organizational growth.
 The whole fabric of management, i.e. its day to day
operation is rightly built on managerial decisions.

 Decision making is the cognitive process leading to the
selection of a course of action among alternatives.
