Eight Great Courses. One Great Cause.
Tarrant County Homeless Coalition to Host Second Annual Mulligans for the Homeless Golf Tournament
March 21-28, 2011 (Fort Worth) - The Tarrant County Homeless Coalition will host its second annual Mulligans for the
Homeless Golf Tournament March 21-28, 2011. The charity event, sponsored by eight participating golf courses, will go
toward a new JPS Homeless Dental program and to improve services for homeless individuals and families.
Players will enjoy a golf package which includes a catered post-game meal, green fees, cart, and tickets to Texas Rangers,
Billy Bob’s, Cats Baseball, Brahmas Hockey, and Stockyards Championship Rodeo.
“TCHC has a strong history of providing leadership in the prevention and eradication of homelessness in Tarrant County,
and the Mulligans for the Homeless Golf Tournament is a great way for businesses and individuals to join us in their
effort to solve our community’s most urgent human service needs,” said Marvin Branch, Chair of the Tournament. “As an
added bonus, it gives participants the chance to play golf for a great cause.”
All tournaments are four person scramble format with morning and afternoon start times. Golfers are welcome to register
as individual participants or as a team. "We are extremely grateful for the generous support of the sponsors, volunteers
and individuals who help to make this tournament a success," says Cindy J. Crain, Executive Director of the Tarrant
County Homeless Coalition. "Proceeds from events such as this help us to continue providing critical funding for our
community’s most vulnerable citizens."
Player, sponsorship, and volunteer opportunities are currently available. Interested parties should visit
www.MulligansHomes.org or contact Marvin Branch, Tournament Chairman at 817-838-1600 for more information.
