Introduction
Fike’s Cheetah Xi is a state of the art true
intelligent digital (addressable) peer-to-peer
modular suppression control system. It is
ideal for all life safety and property protection
applications, and is intended for both
commercial and industrial use.
Features
 The panel comes standard with two Signaling
Line Circuits (SLC) that support 254 devices
each and expandable to four loops supporting
a total of 1016 devices.
Features
 Cheetah Xi utilizes extreme intelligence via its
Eclipse (by System Sensor) based sensors
and modules. The device not only
communicate with the control panel but also
communicate with each other.
Features
Features
 Cheetah Xi’s intelligent sensors indicate
precisely which device is in alarm state unlike
conventional system.
 254 user defined zones
 80 character, backlit LCD display
 Real time clock
 3200 event history buffer
Features
 Critical process monitoring. The panel sends
a command to the loops every 8 seconds. If a
device missing, it will report device missing
within 1 minute.
 One person walk test capability
 Disable by point/circuit or zone
 Drill function at panel and remote-Provide a
practice of fire alarm drill/building evacuation
test.
Features
 Alarm verification-sensors can be individually
configured for an alarm verification delay. The
delay consists of extra time to confirm that
the device is still in alarm.
 Easy to add/remove devices.
 Diagnostic menu for troubleshooting.
 Removable terminal for field wiring.
Features
 10 Status LED’s to easily identify system
status.
 Supports up to 31 peripheral devices such as
Remote Display and LED Graphic.
 Supports ability to network up to 128 nodes
 Address devices with Infrared (IR) tool similar
to a remote control.
Features
 Device “learn/auto-program” function.
 Automatic day/night sensitivity adjustment-
two different sensitivity for day and night.
 Automatic holiday sensitivity adjustment-20
holiday dates to select.
 Acclimate function-allows the photo sensor to
adjust to the environment ambient noise
levels on a short time basis (1 hour).
Features
 Drift Compensation-allows the sensor to be
accustomed to the environment and helps ensure the
dust and dirt do not cause false alarms on a sensor.
 Positive Alarm Sequence-requires ACK within 15
seconds then 180 second investigation period.
 Silence Inhibit-the panel will not allow silencing for
one minute following first alarm event.
Features
 Silence Reminder-panel will produce a
momentary pulse from the panel piezo/buzzer
following the silencing of outputs.
 Sounder Base-provides the ability to notify
occupants near the detection device(s).
 2 levels of Pre-Alarms which can provide an
early warning of a fire alarm.
Features
 Summing alarm function-A single sensor is
selected as a SUMMER. The Summer can
look at information from 8 photo (or ion, same
type as summer-can include the summer)
sensors call the SUMMEE(s). The Summer
will total the obscuration percentages
received from each summee defined. This
operation can be very beneficial to detect a
fire early.
Features
 6.0A useable alarm power, expandable to
12.0A.
 Two 24VDC, 2A continuous auxiliary power
outputs.
 One 24VDC, 2A resettable auxiliary power
output.
 Two NAC circuits, rated at 2A@24VDC.
 Built-in sync protocol for both System Sensor
and Gentex devices.
Features
 The panel is programmed with either Windows based C-LINX
software or through a comprehensive password protected front-
panel keypad programming option.
Approvals
 UL S2203
 FM 3023436
