Founder - Brief Profile
KAPIL DEV PATHAK is the founder of Techwala. He did his engineering in Information
Technology and an alumni of Columbia Business School, New York. He is also a visiting
faculty of Digital Marketing at MAKAUT (previously known as WBUT) and Cambridge
Marketing College, UK. He started his career as a Network Specialist in ISS Inc, New
Jersey. Prior to founding Techwala, he served as the network expert for reputed
organizations like Merlin Group, Tara TV Network, JIS Group, and also an Australian
Real Estate Company.
Over the years, Kapil has also made significant contributions towards esteemed
chambers - Indo – American Chamber of Commerce; Global Organization for People of
Indian Origin; Indo-American Global Chamber of Commerce New York; Indian Diaspora
Council, USA. He has been pivotal in heading several innovative projects in West Bengal,
India and abroad.
Over and above his IT proficiency, Kapil is a motor sports enthusiast and keeps exploring
unchartered territories to satisfy his passion for adventure.

We are living in a dynamic era of massive digital transformation. It is causing seismic shifts
in our culture, communication, behaviours and business patterns. This change is
happening with supersonic speed, giving organizations, entrepreneurs, marketers,
professionals as well as customers little or no time to adapt, consolidate and breathing
time before the next shift. Moreover, the gap between skilled digital workforce and
industry requirements is growing phenomenally.
To cope with this frantic pace of transformation, people are trying random
experimentations, excessive ideations, interruptive communication and execution without
big picture plan. This is resulting in increase of marketing and operational expenditures
without strengthening sustainability and boosting profitability.
I have launched Techwala to facilitate bridging the talent gap, skill gap, content gap,
technology gap for our client customers. Techwala will not only support clients with viable
and cost effective digital strategies and tactics but also with a slow, steady, cost effective
marketing approach.
