This document provides an overview of a photography class syllabus. The goals of the class are to use cameras as an art tool to capture photographs with strong compositions, learn about famous photographers and careers, and reflect on one's own photography. Students will learn and use Photoshop and spend time on assignments. Required materials include a sketchbook, pencil, digital camera, memory card, USB drive, and batteries. Borrowing of cameras must be approved and returned on time to avoid penalties. Class rules focus on respect for others, being on time and prepared, and prohibiting cell phones, food, and drink in the classroom.

Digital Camera with Memory card (we have a
few that can be checked out)
