Bambusa textilis Weaver’s bamboo
Bamboo 20-40’ high Dramatic specimen.

Deep green leaves on arching culms to 2” in diameter. Forms broad clumps. Thin walled culms
are used for weaving.

Dense bamboo has shiny olive green culms to 2” in diameter. Clumping. Thick walled culms grow
in a tight clump. There has been confusion with B. ventricosa in identification of this species.
