On 3 October 1849, Edgar Allan Poe was
found in a Baltimore street.
Poe was found semi-conscious and wearing
clothes that didn't fit him.
Poe spent four days in a delirious state
before perishing on 7 October 1849.
He was 40 years old.
Poe’s death is actually shrouded in mystery
as no one actually knows the cause.

That incredibly nasty appraisal ran six days
after Poe was found, disheveled and
unconscious, in the gutter of a Baltimore
street. Poe lived, barely, for four more
delirious days before dying of causes still
unknown.

father in 1833. "If you will only consider in
what a situation I am placed you will surely
pity me — without friends, without any
means, consequently of obtaining

At the University of Virginia, Edgar Allan Poe accumulated large gambling debts.
Matriculated- to enroll as a member of a body and especially of a college or university Allan married his second wife, Louisa Patterson in October 1830. Following some serious quarrels with his father over Allan’s illegitimate children, Poe was disowned by John Allan. Poe left West Point by purposely getting court-martialed.
