2. I used the ‘move tool’ to reposition the different components on my magazine
I used the ‘magnetic lasso tool’ to cut out images
I used the ‘eyedropper tool’ to allow me to use the
same colour in multiple areas of my magazine
I used the ‘fill tool’ to fill in the boxes that make
up the backgrounds of my text and images
I used the ‘text tool’ to create the headings and the
text on my contents page
I used the ‘rectangle tool’ to create a layout for my
contents page

I used the ‘magnetic lasso tool’ to cut out my image
I used the ‘slice tool’ to divide up my page into 6
sections so that I could make sure it all lines up
I used the ‘blemish tool’ to make the photograph
seem airbrushed and flawless
I used the ‘eraser tool’ to tweak the edges that did
not get picked up by the magic eraser tool
I used the ‘text tool’ to create the headings and the
text on my double page spread
