This rubric assesses case study elements for a child case study assessment. It evaluates background information, interest inventory, testing conditions, reading and writing assessments and analysis, a remediation plan, recommendations, appendices, and written communication. Key areas include thoroughly describing assessments and how their interpretation matches results, well-developed analysis, thoughtfully utilizing additional assessments, and linking explanations and recommendations to the student's work. High scores require meeting all indicators of each element.
