2. Kelli Campbell
Kelli is a natural born singer with musical roots that
run deep. Her melodic voice, which takes you back
to an era with the likes of Sarah Vaughan and Ella
Fitzgerald, was developed under the tutelage of her
mother, a classically trained pianist and violinist. Her
father, a singer and poet, also lends his talents to the
gene pool. Her parents performed and recorded
music with a variety of gospel choirs and
groups. Kelli recalls many rehearsals that took place
right in her living room while she sat and dreamed of
the day she would be able to join in. Her favorite
memories would be of her mother and father sitting
around the piano singing playing those, what she
called, “old songs”. Songs like, “Misty”, “Moody’s
Mood for Love” and “Something Cool” would stick
with her and become the inspiration for a singing
career that didn’t start until Kelli was in her late 40’s.
Kelli’s musical training started with flute and piano
lessons. Throughout her life she performed in gospel
choirs and talent shows. Her relationship with Bill
Corvino and Chris Davis-Shannon began while
performing in a series of tributes to female jazz
singers in 2010 and they haven’t looked back.

4. Christopher Davis-Shannon |
Bass
Christopher Davis-Shannon's music is the
essence of honest simplicity. Steeped
strongly in the piedmont and delta finger-
style blues traditions, his performances
bring you back to a time of juke joints and
smoky blues clubs of the early 20th century
south. A modern vagabond he has toured
the country as a performer the past 3
years, performing from Las Vegas to New
Orleans and throughout the South.
Davis-Shannon performs a mix of blues
and jazz standards, traditional spirituals
and his own originals which are steeped in
the age old styles he holds close to his
heart. His intricate guitar work and plaintive
vocals are infused with soulfulness which
cannot be faked, and a respect for his
predecessors which is rarely equaled.
