2. Reading has been a hobby for me ever since I was young. I
remember my mother would search for me, calling my name
from one end of the house to the other.
3. I’d be locked in my closet with a
blanket, a book and a flashlight
reading and ignoring her like any
other kid. I’ve been like that since I
began reading.
4.
5. In my mind, movies were equal
to reading. In the intermediate
school, A.R. was just an after
thought.
6. I wouldn’t put much effort into
it. I wouldn’t make my goals,
though my friends would get
rewarded for doing so and
would leave me to go on their
little field trips.
7.
8. At the time, I rolled my eyes and
thought she wasn’t going to budge
me from reading more than I had to.
But I was wrong.
9. I left Mrs. Switalski’s class with a
book tucked under my arm where
ever I went. Now, I can’t go a day
without reading.
10. The librarians are the first
adults to remember my name
because I’m constantly at the
library. If I’m not doing work
for Drama Club, doing school
work, or listening to music,
you can find me with my nose
in a book.
11. I’m almost always reading. And those are the reasons I think I am a
bookworm.
