known as March Madness, is an annual college
basketball tournament that remains one of America’s
most popular sporting traditions. In 2015, the
tournament, which runs throughout March and early
April, averaged 11.3 million viewers.

the year before and the tournament’s highest
average in over two decades. The National
Championship game, meanwhile, improved on

and Kentucky in 1997. The 2016 tournament is
