KMP2P is a Community setup and operated by the graduates and students of the PolyU MScKM program. It is not a formal part of the university nor of the course. It is purely the initiative from the fellow graduates & students. KMP2P was initiated in Nov 2012 by KF Cheng, and formed with a group of like-minded graduates/students, with the purpose of offering a platform for practice in KM as a means of continual learning by actions.

KMP2P Introduction
- 1. KMP2P Knowledge Management from Practitioners to Professionals www.kmp2p.hk KMP2P is a Community operated by graduates/students. It is not part of KMP2P the PolyU MScKM course. Participation is entirely optional.

Introduction • initiated by some PolyU MScKM graduates & students • Initial Setup Team (IST) formed in November 2012 to plan the initial setup • Aim – Connections after graduation – Continual learning – Provide opportunity for practice – Connect to the business world KMP2P is a Community operated by graduates/students. It is not part of KMP2P the PolyU MScKM course. Participation is entirely optional.
- 4. Members • At the start: – PolyU MScKM graduates & students • We can possibly connect to the business world at a later stage, depending on the development of the community – Diversified members – Opportunities KMP2P
- 5. Objectives • Continual learning, sharing and updates in the area of KM • Collaboration and connection for the like-minded KM graduates • Development of graduates towards KM professionals • Promote KM in the society • Provide opportunities for KM practices Suggested by IST in Dec 2012 KMP2P

What Shall We Do Externally The future is to be decided collectively by all members, like: • Promote KM in HK through activities with business environment • Joint activities with other associations • Gain recognition of KMP2P. Gain recognition of ourselves. Our Future is We to Draw, Collectively KMP2P
- 17. Fees • No fees necessary right now • Costs of events / activities will be shared by individuals accordingly Notes: • KMP2P is still not yet formally setup. We do not exclude the possibility of membership fee in future, which will be decided by the formal Committee to be nominated. • Members are free to join or withdraw KMP2P
